Dr Carter graduated from the University of Warwick in England in 2015. She worked in hospitals in the UK for three years before moving to Queensland in 2018.
She then spent several years working at The Prince Charles Hospital in Brisbane, as well as in occupational health with Resile. After welcoming her two young children, Dr Carter and her family relocated to Toowoomba for her to commence training as a GP registrar.
